We designed MPLite for transcriptionists who work in MS Word.


MPLite work environment

MPLite runs as a small window docked to the far right of your screen.

It makes no changes to MS Word, and so your abbreviations, your spell check and all Word functions will work exactly as they do now.

How would I benefit from MPLite?

With MPLite you will produce more work in less time. Using MPLite you'll produce in 4 hours what takes 6 hours without it.

MPLite creates and maintains a database of patients you transcribe. Your accuracy in patient demographics will increase, for you can select the patient from the database.

In MPLite you select the template you need for a transcription from a list of the client's available templates. MPLite customizes the template for the dictation. You can have an unlimited number of templates for any facility / client.

MPLite will automatically open the last note you have on a patient with the click of a button. This allows you to copy and paste information from the previous transcription to the current one.

MPLite automatically names and saves the notes using the filename pattern you specify.

MPLite automatically takes and records the line count of each document, using the counting method you've specified. It also shows you the day's running total.

MPLite produces invoices, and these invoices reflect the patient's name, MR#, dictator, Job #, etc, not just the filename.

If you need to send day's work into the office as Sticky Notes, MPLite will create them. If you need to password protect notes in a PDF file, MPLite will create it.

If you have MTs working with you, you can send them the data files and templates, and their copy of MPLite will import them. Furthermore, if the other MTs send you the finished notes, MPLite will import those notes for you, and will update the patient database with any additions.

MPLite comes in two edition, Standard ($54) and Professional ($69). The difference is the Professional edition enables the ImportNotes function, and Standard does not.
