1. Select the facility (client) whose work you are to do. You can have an unlimited number of registered facilities (clients):

2. MPLite immediately presents the Document Information screen. Here you select the template and enter the patient demographics. (Hospital category facilities have addition fields.)

With the first keystroke the patient database displays.

3. MPLite customizes the template and opens it in MS Word. Here you transcribe the note. Ctrl+Shift+J will move to the next @-sign in the document. If you are accustomed to using Word's jump field function, you may certainly create templates to use fields instead.

4. When you have finished the note, inform MPLite of that by pressing Ctrl+Shift+X. MPWord will ask you to identify any proofing needs the document has.
MPLite (1) runs spell check, (2) takes line count, (3) names and saves the note, (4) brings you back to the Document Information screen for your next note.

It also displays statistics on the note, and the day's running total.

5. To create an Invoice, you specify the facility and the dates to be included. The invoices give the details, listing patient name, MR, job number, dictator, etc.

6. MPLite will import transcription done by other MTs working with MPLite or MPWord. If you send the MTs working with you data files (facility registration, databases of patients, etc) and formatting templates, their copy of MPLite will import them, and they are all set-up and ready to transcribe.

7. If you need to send work into the office in one file, MPLite will create Sticky Notes and PDF files from the files you select.

The full help file is available for download if you would like more information before you experience for yourself the difference MPLite makes.
